About the event

Allow Mshauri Mentoring Program’s free Mothers Break Day program, rejuvenate and get the much needed alone time you deserve. This program is absolutely essential for our single mothers.

Raising children can be a demanding and stressful job, and taking regular breaks can help mothers feel rejuvenated and better able to handle the challenges of parenting. Alone time can also help mothers avoid burnout, and it can give them the opportunity to pursue their own interests and hobbies, which can boost their sense of self-worth and fulfillment. Overall, taking some time away from the demands of parenting is an important aspect of self-care for single mothers.

One time $25 registration fee and we asked that the parents volunteer for two hours three times a year do fundraisers. Some parents help out with snacks here and there we need it but other than that the program is free. We have parents that help out with other things if they can’t make the fundraisers. Like help with paperwork help finding sponsors.

We go to church from 9:30 to 12 @ Corinthian Baptist Church 1920 Tennessee Avenue, go to the office from 12 to 3. Pick uk will be at our office 4439 Reading Rd. Activities very depending upon how many show up.

If you would like to get a much needed break and want to sign your children up please contact 513-253-3109 or visit www.mshaurimentor.com

At Mshauri mentoring program, we are committed to making a positive impact in the lives of youth and parents who need our support. As our program continues to grow, we have established new policies to ensure that we can provide impactful services to those who need it most. Here are the new requirements for participation in our program:

- To enroll your child in our mentoring program, you will need to attend an in-person meeting scheduled through Calendly on Sundays from 12 PM to 3 PM or Wednesdays from 12 PM to 6 PM. This will give us the opportunity to go over the program and necessary paperwork with you before your child begins.

- Each parent is required to pay a monthly fee of $10 per child participating in the program ($120 per year).

- We also require that each parent volunteer two hours a month for each child participating in the program to support the overall functioning of the program. This ensures that parents take an active role in their child’s development while supporting the overall functioning of the program.

- If your child participates in our free Mothers Break Day program on Sundays from 9:30 AM to 3:00 PM, you must register each Sunday through our website. Please be prompt for drop off and pick up.

We understand that these requirements may require a level of commitment, but they are necessary for us to continue to grow and provide impact to at-risk and underserved communities in low to moderate-income neighborhoods. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us.
