Good morning here’s our summer program that will be three days a week days a week $100 registration fee and $20 a day per kid. Plus field trip fees. Most of the field trips are free other than Kings Island, Coney Island, full throttle

About the event

Good morning ☀️💼 I am excited to announce our upcoming summer program 🌞🎉. It will take place three days a week 📅💰 with a $100 registration fee 💵 and $20 per day per kid 👦👧. Please note that each participant will be responsible for packing their own lunch 🍎🍔 and paying for field trip fees 🚌🎟️. Most of our field trips are free 🆓🎉, except for Kings Island 🎢🏰, Coney Island 🌊🏖️, and Full Throttle 🏎️🚦🚥, parents are responsible for dropping and picking each youth off to these three events in all the other events, parents are responsible for supplying bus fare so we can go to look from the other events in the cheapest way, possible together as one🚌🚍🚏.

I understand how expensive summer activities can be, which is why our program is designed to be affordable for families 💸😊.

Here's our current schedule:

10am to 6pm

- June 13: Office Meeting Greet 🤝

- June 14: Coney Island 🌊🏖️

- June 17: 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Office Funday 🎉💻

- June 19: Freedom Center 🇺🇸🏛️

- June 22: Kings Island 🎢🏰

- June 23: Art Museum Eden Park Day 🖼️🌳

- June 26-27: Camping ⛺🌲

- June 28: Cincinnati Zoo 🦁🐯

- July 5: Downtown Day 🌇🏬

- July 6: Full Throttle 🏎️🚦

At Mshauri mentoring program, we are committed to making a positive impact in the lives of youth and parents who need our support. As our program continues to grow, we have established new policies to ensure that we can provide impactful services to those who need it most. Here are the new requirements for participation in our program:

 

- To enroll your child in our mentoring program, you will need to attend an in-person meeting scheduled through Calendly on Sundays from 12 PM to 3 PM or Wednesdays from 12 PM to 6 PM. This will give us the opportunity to go over the program and necessary paperwork with you before your child begins.

 

- Each parent is required to pay a monthly fee of $10 per child participating in the program ($120 per year).

 

- We also require that each parent volunteer two hours a month for each child participating in the program to support the overall functioning of the program. This ensures that parents take an active role in their child’s development while supporting the overall functioning of the program.

 

- If your child participates in our free Mothers Break Day program on Sundays from 9:30 AM to 3:00 PM, you must register each Sunday through our website. Please be prompt for drop off and pick up.

 

We understand that these requirements may require a level of commitment, but they are necessary for us to continue to grow and provide impact to at-risk and underserved communities in low to moderate-income neighborhoods. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us.
 

Mentor's and Volunteers are required to pass a background check in order to secure the safety of all mentee's which is $45. (I will send you the link once we receive your app.) We ask that all mentor's commit at least 4 hours of volunteer time with mentee's, attend one group outing with the program a mouth, and attend at least one fundraiser event each year.  

Board Members are required to pass a background check in order to secure the safety of all mentee's which is $45. (I will send you the link once we receive your app.) We ask that you commit at least 2 to 4 hours of volunteer time for meetings, fundraisers or outreach. An $50 donation each month that would go towards everyday operational cost. (Paid through the yellow PayPal button above.) 

We ask that all Parents, Mentors, Volunteer's, and Board members subscribe to our app for all updates, events, and information please and thank you.
